Mikeru On Japanese Music Today

BugLug, a new visual kei band formed by former Ruvie members, is scheduled to start activities in 2010, and their first release has already been confirmed.

BugLug have been arousing attention in the visual kei scene after a picture with the shadows of the members was released to various websites. Now, these members have had their faces unveiled, revealing their identity as former Cult vocalist Issei and ex-Ruvie members Yuu and Kazuki on guitar and bassist Tsubame.

The group have already announced the release of their first mini-album, titled SUPER NOVA, for January 27th. It will feature five songs and will be sold in two different editions, one including the music video of -7- and the other one featuring a bonus track, Mr. Alligator. Lastly, their first live has also been booked. It will be a free one-man at Shibuya club asia on March 6th.
