Tsuji Shion was writing poems and song lyrics at the young age of 15 but it was when playing a guitar did she begin to learn how to write music. At the same time, she dropped out of high school in her first year and moved to Tokyo to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. In autumn of 2007, Tsuji self-produced the music for a commemorative event for 200 people, with her performance, Tsuji finally drew the attention of Sony Music.
